A promising performance last week against Warrington gave supporters hope this season could be the one we finally make our mark. Unfortunately for the big crowd that turned up Salford crumbled in their 1st home game of the season.

Salford Hit back after 30 minutes though a great try by Ben Jones Bishop. He sliced though the saints defence returning a kick.
Saints stuck the knife into Salfords comeback with a try eather side of half time. Luke Thompson and Tommy Makinson the try scorers.
Salford struggled 2nd half with a mounting injury list and Saints pushed further ahead. Tries from Mark Percival Mark Greenwood and Jordan Turner getting their 2nd of the game.
Andy Sevelio completed the scoring for Saints at the end.
Salford fans were left stunned, frustrated and angry on the terrace at the end. Michael Dobson, Kevin Locke and Cory Patterson having to go off injured caused more sadness for the Red Devils fans.
