Salford 0 Huddesfield 19

A cold, wet and frustrating night at the AJ Bell stadium for Salford Red Devils as they went down 19-0 to Huddesfield Giants.

Salford still lacking several players though injury and suspension lacked creativity though out the game, the players still gave 100% but after couple of promising performances under pressure in the last few weeks unfortunately for Salford they looked to have had their energy levels drained.

The referee didn't help Salford's cause with several decisions which at best could be classed as bonkers, which upset the home crowd

Weller Haraki was sent to the sin bin for fighting as Huddersfield lead by Danny Brough did enough to keep Salford at arms length though out the game

Veteran Adrian Morley was put on report for a potential head-butt which deepens Salford's worries with bigger games to come.

The week off has come at the right time for Salford who will be hoping that the time will allow injured and suspended players to come back and strengthen the team for future battles.
