Huddersfield were unable to deal with the early pressure from Hull as they built up a half time lead of 0-24.
Ryan Brierley scored for Huddersfield in the 2nd half but Hull were dominant and came away with a good win.
Castleford 66 Leeds Rhinos 10
Classy Cas put on a amazing performance on Thursday night and defeated a struggling Leeds. A complete 1st half performance with tries from ex red Greg Eden and Greg Minikin built a 30-0 lead at half time for the Tigers.
The demotion job continued in the 2nd half for Castleford despite a Leeds try from Ex Red Joel Moon the Tigers were in total control and ran out worthy winners.
St Helens 12 Wakefield 16
Wakefield secured a dramatic away win at St Helens to secure their 1st win of the season.
Wakefields game management throughout the game was great and were rewarded with a fantastic try by ex red Mason Cation Brown to give them a 4-10 lead at half time.
St Helens battled back in the 2nd half with a try from Mark Percival to give saints hope. But a late penalty try for Wakefield when Jacob Miller was adjusted to have been obstructed was the match winner for Wakefield.
Wigan Warriors 20 Leigh Centurions 0
Leigh battled bravery against the Super league champions but the Warriors secured another win to keep their unbeaten run going.
Anthony Gelling scored twice against a fearless Leigh who in terrible conditions were unable to break the Warriors down.
Catalan Dragons 14 Widnes 14
A late Rhys Hanbury gave Widnes their 1st points of 2017.
In terrible weather conditions in France it was a tough game for both sides. Ex Red Richie Myler scored for Catalan in the 1st half. A late Luke Walsh drop goal missed and the game ended in a draw.
