Super league review


Another exciting week of Super league action all here for your to enjoy in our Super league report. 

Warrington Wolves 16 Wigan Warriors 38

Wigan Warriors inflicted more early season misery on Warrington by recording a convincing away win with 4 tries from Liam Marshall.
Wigan lead 20-0 at half time and Warrington never looked like getting back in the game. 
Another defeat for Wire in a dreadful start to the 2017 super league season.


Hull FC 24 St Helens 14

Two tries from Albert Kelly secured a big win for Hull AFC against St Helens. The saints started brightly and end the 1st half with a 8-6 lead after a try from Dom Preyroux.

Hull scored a 8 points Try through Carlos Tuimavave who was fouled in the process of scoring which allowed Ex Red Marc Sneyd to kick his 500th point for Hull.


Leigh Centurions 30 Huddersfield Giants 0

A second win of the season for Leigh who defeated a poor Huddersfield side. Leigh lead 12-0 at half time and were never in danger of losing this game.

Ex Red Harrison Hanson scored in the 2nd half for Leigh and with their defensive line stayed strong against  Huddersfield and kept a clean sheet which will excite the Leigh faithful.


Leeds Rhinos 46 Catalan Dragons 10

Leeds Rhinos bounced back from humiliating defeat last week with a big win against the Catalan Dragons.

With pressure building on Brian McDermott this win has just come at the right time for them. Leeds lead 14-4 at half time with tries from Adam Cuthbertson and Matt Parcell.

The 2nd half Leeds cut loose with try's from Rob Burrow and Danny McGuire and others to put smiles back on the Leeds fans faces.


Widnes 0 Castleford Tigers 34

Castleford continued their impressive early season form with a good away win against Widnes. The Vikings started the brighter but the Tigers took charge in the later stages of the first half with tries from Michael Shenton among others to build a 0-22 lead.

In the 2nd half Castleford continued to dominated with try's allowing Luke Gale to pass 1500 career points.

Dennis Betts run of defeats continue as they are yet to record their 1st super league win of 2017.
